Peter Lloyd has developed a reputation as the writer and publisher of de-luxe limited edition works on Australian cricketers. Following his books on Trumper and Bradman he has now tackled Warren Bardsley.

“Warren Bardsley  The First Mr Cricket” is a 500-page blockbuster, illustrated in colour and sepia throughout. It illuminates his background and life beyond the pitch, and follows his career from his emergence as a major batsman in 1909 through to his last tour of England in 1926, when he took over the captaincy and scored 193 at Lord’s, the oldest player to score a Test century for Australia.

Beautifully designed and produced, using 128gsm coated paper, and bound in dark blue cloth, with a tan Morocco spine.

Published in a signed, limited edition of 100 numbered copies, of which 95 are for sale.  35 have been taken by subscribers in Australia, with 30 being distributed by Roger Page in Australia and 30 by myself in the UK.

Due to arrive late December.

£240 + £10 postage (UK)
