BRODHURST, Robin (Editor). THE ALTHAM-BRADMAN LETTERS. With a Foreword by Bob Barber. Christopher Saunders Publishing Ltd, 2020. 8vo, pp(iv),125. Photographs. Paperback. New. Harry Altham and Don Bradman corresponded regularly in the late 1950s in the run up to the I.C.C. conference of 1960, which debated throwing and other contentious matters. This book contains those letters, annotated by Robin Brodhurst, Altham's grandson, who has given us a biography and personal memoir of his grandfather in his lengthy introduction. The minutes of the conference are also included, and with the letters they give us some idea of what went on behind the scenes during a difficult period in Anglo-Australian cricketing relationships.
